Alexandra Bonelli and Nelly Chatagnon: two consummate makeup professionals, impassioned by their art, with more than twenty years of experience within the beauty industry.
In 2009, Alexandra started the MakeMyBeauty project, a blog that shares their creative vision of  beauty, revealing and explaining the trends, prescribing the must-haves and generally dispensing professional makeup advice and expertise.
Through MakeMybeauty, Alexandra also starts to provide personalized “Beauty Séances” to be conducted at home, with the focus on being sublime and subsequently learning to sublime oneself.
In May 2010, after having fruitfully collaborated for many years within the industry, Alexandra and Nelly decide to join forces to officially launch MakeMyBeauty.
.
Alexandra earned her makeup stripes in the fashion industry in Paris, New York and Milan.  She has worked many seasons on numerous fashion shows for Yves Saint-Laurent, Céline, Marc Jacobs and Versace.  She has continuously collaborated with the fashion press and has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Madame Figaro and Cosmopolitan.
As a worldly makeup artist evolving within the contemporary fashion spheres, Alexandra also delivers image and allure consulting for select private customers and such luxury institutions such as the Hôtel Crilllon or LeNôtre.
Alexandra loves refinement in all things, the trendy-chic, the beauty of pigments and the wisdom of natural products… Her inspiration finds its roots in the visual universe of photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin.
However, first and foremost for Alexandra, beauty is all about emotions and well-being.
.
Nelly is a professional makeup artist who has collaborated with well-known makeup artists, hairstylists and photographers.  She has traveled the world as a brand specialist for the Australia-based BECCA brand, she has done consulting work for trend agencies and image consulting for LVMH and Verbateam.
As a regular fashion nomad, she has honed her expertise through residencies in London, New York and Monaco.
Despite having a taste for the offbeat neo-romantic, Nelly boasts eclectic passions such as interior decoration, floral design, painters of the Renaissance, and … Marie-Antoinette!
With a permanent piqued curiosity, Nelly is a specialist in exceptional addresses, niche and emerging beauty brands and trends.
.
Thankfully due to their work as beauty consultants, Alexandra and Nelly have the access and daily opportunity to use and try out various care and makeup products.
However, it should be duly noted that MakeMyBeauty holds no engagement, nor commitment, nor exclusive contracts with any cosmetics brand and opinions dispensed are impartial and of personal taste and opinion…
Articles are published for the purpose out of the pleasure of sharing new discoveries, opinions and reviews of tested products, dispensed through the knowledge of beauty professionals… and solely for the audience’s satisfaction.

By sharing our universe and our vision of the beauty world for your enjoyment, we aim to advise you on the best and we always look forward to learning even more through your replies and comments.

These reasons are the raison d’être of MakeMyBeauty !

Emmanuel Zanucchi, a former sales director for Martine Sitbon and freelancer for Balenciaga in Paris and New York. The career of Emmanuel is mainly in fashion and he is currently working for a major traditional American brand.
As a fervent admirer and proponent of Khiel’s products, using and abusing of their mood candles, he is fascinated by his Italian roots as well as an avid collector of sneakers (over 90 pairs in his daily wardrobe alone!)  The cosmetics world is not his primary centre of interest but taking care of his personal health and beauty is an obvious choice for this epicurean, who can spills hours on end about it with panache, flair and humour.  He delights us with his opinions and experiences through his MecMyBeauty articles given from a masculine point of view.
