Clean and green makeup

As I've been on maternity leave for a few days, I have plenty of time to test and discover new wonders while nesting.

So it's natural for me to write you a third opus on clean & green makeup today... So let me introduce something new with RMS BEAUTY... But not just that! I'm also going to talk to you about ILIA BEAUTY and ZOYA, "natural" brands of make-up and nail polish that you should keep a close eye on ...

From RMS, I'm looking at Master Mixer ❤︎❤︎❤︎, a multi-purpose cream in a rose gold tone that allows you to transform other makeup products. This is THE must-have from RMS, the one that everyone needs to have.

Why?

Used alone, it gives your cheeks, lips or eyelids a touch of "glow".

Mixed with other cream products, it illuminates their colors.

You can, for example, mix it with Lip2cheek, or cream eye shadows from the RMS line ... But you can also mix it with Cover Up in order to get an even more flattering color.

Personally, I'm hooked ... For my foundation, I mix it with Cover Up # 22, or any other foundation with a creamy texture, and I love the "healthy & glowing" result

RMS BEAUTY's Master Mixer is not a certified Organic Makeup, but it contains only natural and organic ingredients (organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, organic rosemary extract).

Here, mixed with Cover Up No. 22 applied with a Skin2Skin.brush.

ILIA BEAUTY is one of the best Canadian brands of makeup, combining a healthy formulation with intense pigmentation that is long lasting .

I discovered it thanks to Caroline from Mon Corner B and I was immediately seduced by the VERY wide range of lipstick and blush colors, as well as the chic and sleek packaging.

ILIA BEAUTY is not certified organic but each product is 85% composed of bioactive organic ingredients, and that's super cool in itself.

And finally ZOYA, a brand of non-toxic nail polish. They are certainly not 100% natural or organic but long years of research have enabled the brand to develop polish which is free of the most toxic and carcinogenic ingredients such as: toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and DBP (phthalates).

Again the range is crazy, over 400 colors, and it is flawlessly long-lasting ... Although I find that drying takes a little longer than with a conventional polish.

So, as we have to begin with something, today I have chosen a few shades to show you how to create a refined and feminine spring look.

❤︎ ILIA BEAUTY's "Sweet Jane" eyeliner, a pretty hazelnut brown presented in a practical, self-sharpening holder.

❤︎ ILIA BEAUTY's black mascara , with a curved brush that lengthens and curls the lashes without running and without clumping.

❤︎ ILIA BEAUTY's Multi Stick "All of me", a watermelon shade that is ideal for brightening the cheekbones. But not just that... It can also be used on the eyelids or lips.

❤︎ ILIA BEAUTY's "Perfect day" lipstick, a warm and very flattering bright red.

❤︎ And ZOYA's "Elodie" nail polish (the choice was difficult), a melon pink with a touch of coral.

After creating my foundation by mixing RMS Beauty's Cover Up 22 and Master Mixer, lightly dusted with RMS Beauty's loose powder 2-3 on the T zone ... I followed with the eyes.

I carefully drew a fine line to intensify the look all along the upper lashes.

On the lower lashes, I was happy with just half the length of the eye ...

Where the line was irregular, I blurred it with the end of a cotton bud by Muji.

Then I joined the top and bottom lines together.

To create this "cat's eye", it helps to stretch your eye outwards and upwards with your index finger (as pictured below).

Your eyeliner line will then naturally follow an upward direction.

You can then finish by extending the line in the same direction with a fine brush.

Then I created some touches of light with Master Mixer (yes, that again!), applied with a brush:

- In the middle of the eyelid

- On the brow bone

- In the inner corner of the eye

Then I put on a touch of black mascara. As I am currently wearing eyelash extensions on my top eyelashes, I only put mascara on the bottom lashes.

Then I put the superb, red, Perfect day lipstick on my lips and I finished with a good swipe of All of me on the cheekbones that I blended with my fingers ...

When you wear makeup on your eyes AND your lips, then I suggest you apply the blush last, because it helps you to balance the makeup by applying the right amount.

... et je file ensuite m'acheter un ticket pour accoucher à Copacabana.

I crowned it all with some flowers in my hair by H&M and  Elodie polish on my nails

... And then I went buy a ticket to have my baby in Copacabana.

I went out to dinner that night wearing the makeup, and although the textures are creamy, the result remained intact, nothing changed even after several hours ... And the icing on the cake was that my skin remained fresh and glowing... (well OK, right now I am living like a nun, zero cigarettes, zero alcohol, in bed by ten to midnight at the latest .... )

My mouth also held up well, but, of course, after eating a little retouching was necessary.

As for my nails, they were irreproachable for 4 days, even without a top coat.
