Nail trends
Usually very popular with an Asian or African-American female audience, arts manicures / pedicures begin to infiltrate slowly and surely the world of fashion !
Obviously, I'm not talking necessarily 10 cm false nails decorated with sunset & palm tree, but a development of new techniques and designs on the market that expands the range of possibilities and responds to a desire to stand out and to accessorize our nails other than with a traditional solid color.
It's been a few months I started to get interested and become quite a fan of this concept that allows me to explore a new area of ??expression in my fingertips!
It all started when, last July, we discovered MINX with a colleague during a fashion show ... This American brand that is developing in France now offers a wide collection of stickers for nails with all sorts of reasons, monograms and other incredible colors ! Following this revelation, we have decided to enjoy ourselves for the summer time : 2 auricular in "gold mirror" for me and annular and auricular "silver chrome" for her! For a first time, so we stayed soft and avoid a total look a bit "too much" ...

Very cool, but be aware that it is quite expensive if you want to afford the "full one" by a certified technician (they are not sold to the public) and that the promise is held 15 days on hands and 3 weeks on the feet, depending on regrowth, it still crashed pretty quickly ... unless you are not using your hands.

Alternatively, for something a little rock 'n' roll home made and quite easy there is the "cracked" effect nail polish !
My dear colleague and friend Nelly of MakeMyBeauty had recently offered me a black one, I was eager to test the same evening for a pedicure two-tone black on gold, and it took me 10 minutes:
2 layers of the desired color for the bottom, let it dry, then apply the crackling black above, that's it! During the first seconds of the application, I confess to have remained confused ... it's a bit dirty and looks like nothing .... then little by little, the effect appears, like a polaroid that grows to finally get the result announced !
Not bad, right? I find it pretty only on the feet, but it is a matter of taste ...

For the hand, I prefer what is neat and graphi, like the manicure from the 30's with the drawn lunula or colored "French manicure", but still quite open minded about unexpected color combinations: I wore one week ago a beautiful burgundy with navy blue lunule which I unfortunately lost the picture ...
And since I'm definitely a fan of black and gold, here's the latest :
Careful this type of application requires great skill, I leave to the experts of my beauty salon "Le Petit Saigon"!

And you dear readers, are you ready ?
