On the other hand, when to comes to makeup, even though we're seeing more and more great green discoveries the selection isn't, in our experience, that good yet. Yeah, yeah. yeah . . . don't forget that we're makeup artists! That means we're passionate about color, texture, ingredients and pigments. We're always looking for the "new effect" or the perfect shade.

In addition, it's not as important to use 100% green products for makeup since we use it mostly as an accessory.

Example: A bright red lipstick can be worn only occasionally, for a night out or just to perfectly match the most recent twin set that you bought. So there's no point (I think) to freaking out if it's not eco-friendly. It won't ruin your lips if you only use it occasionally.

Let's get back to business. Once again, what's new for spring 2016?

For this new article, I fell for Ultra-Gloss Dior Addict. We're always in love with Dior here. Their packaging is a delight and we feel so "Dior" when open up one of their boxes. Yeah, I know, it's superficial, but that's also what makeup is!

To be more specific, the Ultra-Gloss is both a plumper and a gloss.

It's effect? It makes for a mouth that is luscious, smooth and plump. It adds a touch of freshness to any makeup without being sticky.

I particularly love how comfortable it feels on your lips thanks to its hyaluronic acid that capture and retain water for fuller, rounder lips.

It would be too bad not to fall in love with at least one of the 18 shades they offer, available in 3 levels of shine:

- Sparkling: An ultra-concentrated color with glitter

- Iridescent: A radiant color, concentrated for a fine and contrasting pearly effect

- Watery: Pure and transparent

As a fan of Coral shades, I particularly liked the iridescent cosmic 656 color infused with blue-tinted microbeads (that's the subtlety of Dior).

I was also in love with the Cruise 676 Watery color, which was a very pure and luminous Hibiscus pink.

I also loved the Mat Liquide Vivid lipsticks from Gemey and their velvety finishes that don't dry out your lips too much.

All of their shades are ultra-pigmented, the way we like them, but I personally loved the Red-orange Shot n°25 for its retro touch.

I'm also happy to tell you about the very stylish glasses brand Etnia Barcelona. Isn't this pair of sunglasses from their Vintage Collection amazing?

 And finally, when it comes to nail polish, I'm usually pretty classic in my choices and use transparent pinkish beige, geranium red or even deep red.

However, when I tested High Class Affair from Essie, I realized that I wouldn't be averse to using strongly opaque pink nude once in a while.
