Girls you know that the new makeup trend is the strobing, out of the term stromboscope = shine brightly ??? And that is pretty great news because we have enough of the super fake contouring ...
Highlighting a face (not changed the features), it is much more MMB style!
Between you and me, the strobing is not a new technics for makeup artists, unless the word ... Illuminate a complexion by putting highlight on certain parts of the face, it has been practiced for years on shootings or fashion show, grants to this photo from my personal portfolio performed more than 7 years ago with the photographer Philippe Kerlo
This "new" trend gives me the opportunity to give you some techniques to achieve an ultra luminous complexion.
1- I suggest you first use a light touch to highlights the face: forehead, bridge of the nose, high cheekbones, brow arched, chin and bow cupid ...
Here are my favorite:
❤︎ Le Stylo touche éclat d'Yves Saint Laurent
❤︎ Le Stylo rayonnant jeunesse Yves Rocher
2- Then blend all with the Beauty Blender sponge that has been moistened beforehand.
3- Then use an illuminating powder ... But be careful not any;) It must be fine and match well with the skin.
Here my favourite:
❤︎ The Diorskin Nude Cosmopolite powder ... Very subtle and unobtrusive for every day, it is perfect for all skin tones.
❤︎ The blush Tribulation NARS. ... It is designated as "blush" but ideal for illuminating ... in the sand pink tones.
❤︎ The Skinfinish Soft & Gentle MAC finishing powder ... Its satin finish is more intense than the previous two, to use for an evening look for an over Glowy finish.
❤︎ The Lueur de Chandelle Laura Mercier Palette ... It's the perfect palette to illuminate the face at every hour of the day both in summer and winter, with 4 eyeshadows (silver, pink champagne, champagne and gold) and two illuminating powders (rose gold and gold) ...
4- Place the illuminating powder on the top of the cheek for a plump cheekbone under the eyebrow and under the eye to enlarge,
then lightly blend with the finger for a natural finish .... Both areas preferred to illuminate the face, are these
5- You can also place the illuminating powder
- On the bridge of the nose to make it look straighter.
- On the bow cupid for plump lips.
- In the inner corner of the eye to brighten them.
then lightly blend with finger for a natural finish
puis fondre légèrement au doigt pour un fini naturel
6- If your skin texture is thin and especially if you do not have oily skin, you also have the option to put a small subtle touch of hightlight on the chin and forehead ... always slightly blend with the finger for a natural finish
7- To finish, powder the rest of the face (nauso-genial furrow, sides of the nose, between the eyebrows) with a mattifying powder,
and color the cheeks with the blush of your choice.
There you go!
She is not delicious Anne with her absolutely radiant complexion!
And the art of Strobing is not it much more refreshing and more flattering than contouring!
Have a nice weekend everybody!
